Table 23 shows the format of the IDE submenus. For brevity, only one example is shown. Table 23. Type • None • User • Auto (default) • CD-ROM • ATAPI Removable • Other ATAPI • IDE Removable Specifies the IDE configuration mode for IDE devices. User allows capabilities to be changed. Auto fills-in capabilities from ATA/ATAPI device. Maximum Capacity No options Displays the capacity of the drive. Multi-Sector Transfers (This feature is present only when Type is not set to Auto.) • Disabled • 2 Sectors • 4 Sectors • 8 Sectors • 16 Sectors (default) Specifies number of sectors per block for transfers from the hard disk drive to memory.
