Use this function to ensure faxes are sent to the receiving machines when they are ready to receive them. Faxing manually 1 Load the original. 2 Press the Fax key. 3 Specify fax transmission options. 4 Press the On hook key. % If you are using a phone, pick up the handset. 5 Check that [TX] is selected. 6 Enter a fax number. % For details on how to specify a destination, refer to page 3-7. % If the pulse is set to the line type, press the key to temporarily switch to tone. 7 When you hear a signal sound, press the Start key. Sending starts. If you are using a phone, replace the handset. % If you press the Stop/Reset key while scanning the original, scan processing stops, and the confir- mation screen appears to check whether you wish to cancel the job.
