CC-2 Troubleshooting Fiery X3e message Corrective action/additional information Check power & cable There is a problem with the copier power or cable connection. Check to make sure the copier is turned on. There may be a problem with the cable connection between the Fiery X3e and the copier. Make sure the cable has not come loose. The Fiery X3e will resume printing when the cable is securely connected to both the Fiery X3e and the copier. Copier adjustments. Warming up. . . Waiting This is a normal status message. The copier is making adjustments. It will be ready for printing in a few minutes. Copier error ___ error An error occurred with the copier. Specific information about the location or solution may accompany the error message. Copier offline This message can indicate either of the following: • The Suspend Printing option has been chosen from the Functions menu. Choose Resume Printing from the Functions menu to reconnect the Fiery X3e to the copier. • There is a problem with the copier power or cable connection. Check to make sure the copier is turned on. There might be a problem with the cable connection between the Fiery X3e and the copier. Make sure the cable has not come loose. The Fiery X3e will resume printing when the cable is securely connected to both the Fiery X3e and the copier. Door open ___ open Cover open One of the doors on the copier is open. Close the door to resume printing. Fan motor error The fan motor is not working. To fix the fan motor, call your service representative. Load ___ in ___ The copier's specified tray is not loaded with the paper size specified. The Fiery X3e will print when the named tray is loaded with the required paper. Near Trouble A problem may be developing with the copier. Contact your operator or service representative if needed. No staple pin No staples The copier's stapler is out of pins. The Fiery X3e will resume printing when pins have been added. No ___ toner The toner for the specified color is nearly gone, or has run out. ___toner nearly empty Printing will resume when you replace the specified toner.
