Progressing the Timeshift function DVR (DIGITAL VIDEO RECORDER) 1 After selecting the Timeshift Mode On, press the ENTER button. I As soon as Timeshift starts, a progress bar indicating the current recording status is displayed in the bottom of the screen. The Timeshift function will not initiate for a copyprotected program. Because an analog broadcast is transferred to a digital signal, video that contains rapid movement may show "cross stripes". This happens when the analog signal is compressed and then restored in the digital signal. The unit will attempt to reduce this excessive picture noise. When using the PIP/POP mode, Timeshift is stopped. Timeshift is available in AV1, AV2, Antenna, Cable mode. Timeshift is available in Component1,2, HDMI1, 2 mode. Timeshift is not available for Audio only channels. The timeshift may not work properly in some audio streams. 77
