To replace the power supply assembly: 1. Remove all media from the drives and turn off all attached devices and the computer. Then, disconnect all power cords from electrical outlets and disconnect all cables that are connected to the computer. 2. Remove the computer cover. See "Removing the computer cover" on page 16. 3. Disconnect the power supply assembly cables from the system board and all drives. See "Locating parts on the system board" on page 12. 4. Replacing the power supply assembly
Attention

This section provides instructions on how to replace the power supply assembly.
To replace the power supply assembly:
1.
Remove all media from the drives and turn off all attached devices and the
computer. Then, disconnect all power cords from electrical outlets and
disconnect all cables that are connected to the computer.
2.
Remove the computer cover. See “Removing the computer cover” on page 16.
3.
Disconnect the power supply assembly cables from the system board and all
drives. See “Locating parts on the system board” on page 12.
4.
Lay the computer on its side and remove the four screws at the rear of the
chassis that secure the power supply assembly.
5.
Remove the power supply assembly from the chassis.
6.
Ensure that the power supply assembly is the correct replacement. Some
power supply assemblies automatically sense the voltage, some power supply
