Ready
Hex
The printer is ready and
Hex Trace
mode is active.
Hex Trace
isolates the source of a print job problem. When
Hex
Trace
is selected, all data sent to the printer prints in hexadecimal and character representation. Control codes print, but

execute.

The resolution of the page is reduced from 600 dots per inch (dpi) to 300 dpi to prevent a
38 Memory Full
error.
1200 dpi pages do not undergo resolution reduction. If a 1200 dpi print job runs out of memory, a
38 Memory Full
error
occurs.
Res Reduced
displays for the duration of the current job.
Resetting
Active Bin
The printer is setting the active bin back to the first bin of a set of linked bins.

The printer is deleting any print jobs in process and restoring all printer settings to user defaults.
