10 - 8 Symbol DS6708 Digital Scanner Product Reference Guide Ignore Unknown Characters Unknown characters are characters the host does not recognize. Select Send Bar Codes With Unknown Characters to send all bar code data except for unknown characters. The digital scanner issues no error beeps. Select Do Not Send Bar Codes With Unknown Characters to send bar code data up to the first unknown character. The digital scanner issues an error beep. *Send Bar Codes with Unknown Characters (Transmit) Do Not Send Bar Codes with Unknown Characters Keystroke Delay This is the delay in milliseconds between emulated keystrokes. Scan a bar code below to increase the delay when hosts require a slower transmission of data. *No Delay Medium Delay (20 msec) Long Delay (40 msec)
