Mobile LTE Broadband 11n Wireless Router MBR1516 Wireless Settings Note: The wireless router is already configured with the optimum settings. Do not alter these settings unless directed by NETGEAR support. Incorrect settings disable the wireless router. Select ADVANCED > Advanced > Wireless Settings to display the following screen: The following settings are available in this screen: Advanced Wireless Settings. Do not change these settings unless directed to do so by NETGEAR support. • Enable Wireless Router Radio. You can completely turn off the wireless portion of the wireless router by clearing this check box. Select this check box again to enable the wireless portion of the router. When the wireless radio is disabled, other members of your household can use the router by connecting their computers to the router with an Ethernet cable. • Enable SSID Broadcast. This setting enables broadcasting of the SSID. Note: The Fragmentation Length, CTS/RTS Threshold, and Preamble Mode options are reserved for wireless testing and advanced configuration only. Do not change these settings. • Wireless Signal Strength. This setting allows adjusting the power of Wi-Fi from 1% (minimum) to 100% (maximum). Enter an integer ranging from 1 to 100 (default) in this field. Lowering the Wi-Fi power limits the range of Wi-Fi and reduces the Wi-Fi radiation.
