USB menu This menu controls the operation of the printer's USB data interface. USB MENU ITEM SOFTWARE RESET SETTINGS ENABLE DISABLE MAXIMUM SPEED 12 MBPS 480 MBPS OFFLINE RECEIVE ENABLE DISABLE SERIAL NUMBER ENABLE DISABLE EXPLANATION Enables or disables the SOFT RESET command. (Only available on Windows 98 and Windows Me.) Specifies the maximum transfer speed. Offline receive. Specifies the USB serial number to differentiate between USB devices connected to the PC. If ENABLED, the serial number is transmitted. If DISABLED, the serial number is not transmitted. NOTE When you have changed any settings in the USB MENU, turn the printer OFF, then ON again. Network menu This menu controls the printer's 10Base-T/100Base-TX network interface. NETWORK MENU ITEM TCP/IP IP VERSION SETTINGS ENABLE DISABLE IP V4 IPV 4 & V6 IPV 6 NETBEUI IP ADDRESS SET ENABLE DISABLE AUTO MANUAL EXPLANATION Enables or disables this network protocol. Sets up the IP version: - Operates with IPv4 only (not valid with IPv6). - Operates with both IPv4 and IPv6. - Operates with IPv6 only (not valid with IPv4).
