Setting the day of the week and the time You can select either the 12-hour or 24-hour display. (This section explains how to set the time based on the 12-hour display.) To cancel the current time indication, press and hold down the STANDBY/ON button for more than two sec- onds while the power is on. If the unit displays the current time during Standby mode, standby power consumption will increase. 17
