Press DISPLAY repeatedly until the character type you wish to enter appears in the display. Each press of the DISPLAY button switches the type of characters. If you press SCROLL button, the type of characters swiches in the reverse order. • Inputting alphabets: Each press of the number buttons switches alphabets. For example, repeatedly pressing the 2/ABC button displays A→B→C→A in this order. Display the desired character, then press ENTER. • Inputting an Easy Name: Each press of the number buttons switches between the Easy Names that start with the same characters as the buttons. For example, repeatedly pressing the 2/ABC button displays the Easy Names that start with A, B, or C, such as BALLAD, BLUES, and CLASSIC. Display the desired Easy Name, then press ENTER. • Inputting numbers and symbols: Pressing a number button displays the corresponding number. Each press of the button or the 10/0 ( ) button switches between the symbols labeled on the corresponding button. You can input using the button, and (space) using the10/0 ( ) button. Display the desired number or symbol, then press ENTER. You can also use the remote controller's or button, then press ENTER to select and input a character. Note Inputting symbols from the remote controller: You cannot input all symbols from the remote controller's number buttons. To input symbols, use the remote controller's or button to select the desired symbols. Press the NAME button to complete the naming process.
