Programmable Functions With the base unit You can set the base unit ringer volume to HIGH, LOW or OFF. If set to OFF, the base unit will not ring. Your phone comes from the factory set to HIGH. Make sure the unit is in the standby mode initially. (You can also select the ringer volume while a call is being received.) To select HIGH or LOW, press (HOLD/RINGER). •Each time you press the button, the selected ringer volume will be displayed and ring. Ringer HIGH Low High (HOLD/RINGER) Ringer LOW Low High To turn the ringer OFF, press and hold (HOLD/RINGER) until 2 beeps sound. •"Ringer off" will be displayed.
