Listening to Messages You can see the total number of recorded messages on the base unit display. If the ANSWER ON indicator flashes, new messages have been recorded. Listening to only new messages Press (NEW!MESSAGE) briefly. •The unit announces the number of new ANSWER ON messages and plays them back. Indicator Listening to all recorded messages Press and hold (NEW!MESSAGE) until playback starts. (NEW!MESSAGE) To adjust the speaker volume: (STOP/EXIT) 9 levels (0-8) are available while using the answering system. To increase, press Ñ. To decrease, press Ö. •During each message playback, the message number is displayed. (Ex. While the first message is being played back, "- Message 1 -" is displayed.) •At the end of the last message, "End of final message" is heard. The unit will announce the remaining recording time if it is less than 5 minutes.
