About AV Head Units /Displays to be Connected You need an AV head Unit or Display with a touch panel feature to use this software. If a display that does not have a touch panel feature is connected, the software will not function properly. This includes Pioneer displays that do not have touch panel features. Make sure to use a display suitable for the system. For details, consult a dealer or product catalog. Group 1 - AV Head Unit The type of the unit that can be a control master with the following features (e.g. AVH-P7600DVD, AVH-P5700DVD, AVH-P6600DVD, AVHP6500DVD, and AVH-P7500DVD): • a source unit can be connected to it directly, and • a built-in amplifier and display are equipped. Group 2 - Display Type AVD The type of the unit that has a built-in amplifier only for the built-in speaker(s) and cannot be a control master because other unit cannot be connected to it (e.g. AVD-W6210). Group 3 - AV system display with Master/ Slave switch The type of the unit that has no amplifier and can be a control master by being switched to Master and connected with other unit(s) (e.g. AVXP8DVD). About AV Head Units /Displays
to be Connected
You need an AV head Unit or Display with a
touch panel feature to use this software.
If a
display that does not have a touch panel feature
is connected, the software will not function prop-
erly. This includes Pioneer displays that do not
have touch panel features. Make sure to use a
display suitable for the system. For details, con-
sult a dealer or product catalog.
Group 1 – AV Head Unit
The type of the unit that can be a control master
with the following features (e.g. AVH-P7600DVD,
AVH-P5700DVD, AVH-P6600DVD, AVH-
P6500DVD, and AVH-P7500DVD):
a source unit can be connected to it directly,
and
a built-in amplifier and display are equipped.
Group 2 – Display Type AVD
The type of the unit that has a built-in amplifier
only for the built-in speaker(s) and cannot be a
control master because other unit cannot be con-
nected to it (e.g. AVD-W6210).
Group 3 – AV system display with Master/
Slave switch
The type of the unit that has no amplifier and can
be a control master by being switched to Master
and connected with other unit(s) (e.g. AVX-
P8DVD).
Features available to each Group
*1: The AV Head Unit or Display must be set to Mute or ATT while the Guidance is being performed by
the Navigation System.
*2: Available when the GUIDE ON lead of the Navigation System is connected to the Pioneer Head Unit.
