Limiting and Controlling Access Limiting and Controlling Access ❖ Preventing Modification or Deletion of Stored Data Users with access permission to stored files can be specified. Permit selected users who have to access permissions to stored files to modify or delete the files. ❖ Preventing Modification of Printer Settings The printer settings that can be modified depend on the type of administrator account. Register the administrators so that users cannot change the administrator settings. ❖ Limiting Available Functions This function allows administrator to specify which users have accessibility to each of the printer's functions, to prevent unauthorized operation. 10 313
