ENGLISH Advanced Recording FRANÇAIS Perfectionnez vos enregistrements MF/AF (Manual Focus/Auto Focus) ✤ The MF/AF function works in the CAMERA mode only. ✤ In most situations, it is better to use the Automatic Focus feature, as it enables you to concentrate on the creative side of your recording. ✤ Manual focusing may be necessary under certain conditions that make automatic focusing inadequate. Auto Focusing ✤ The AF (Auto Focus) mode is set automatically when you switch on the Power switch. ✤ If you are inexperienced with camcorders, we recommend that you use the Auto Focus mode. Manual Focusing ✤ In the following situations you should obtain better results by adjusting the focus manually. a. A picture containing several objects, some close to the camcorder, others further away. b. A person enveloped in fog or surrounded by snow. c. Very shiny or glossy surfaces like a car. d. People or objects moving constantly or quickly, such as an athlete or crowd. 2 1. Set the power switch to CAMERA mode. 2. Press the MF button. 3. Zoom in the subject to be recorded by pushing the ZOOM tab to the "T" 3 side. 32 Mise au point manuelle/automatique (MF/AF) ✤ Cette fonction n'est disponible qu'en mode Caméscope. ✤ Dans la plupart des cas, il est recommandé d'utiliser la mise au point automatique lors de vos tournages, ce qui vous permet de vous concentrer sur la composition des images. ✤ Dans certains cas, l'utilisation de la mise au point manuelle peut s'avérer nécessaire si la mise au point automatique est inadéquate. Mise au point automatique ✤ Lorsque vous allumez le caméscope, le mode AF (mise au point automatique) est sélectionné automatiquement. ✤ Il est préférable d'utiliser ce mode si vous n'avez pas l'habitude de filmer. Mise au point manuelle ✤ Vous obtiendrez de meilleurs résultats en effectuant une mise au point manuelle, dans les cas suivants : a. Image contenant plusieurs objets, certains proches du caméscope, d'autres éloignés. b. Sujet dans la neige ou la brume, sujet derrière une vitre. c. Surfaces très brillantes (une voiture, par exemple). d. Contraste important entre les parties droite et gauche de l'image, sujets ou objets en déplacement rapide ou continu (un sportif ou une foule, par exemple). 1. Placez le commutateur principal sur la position CAMERA. 2. Appuyez sur la touche MF. 3. Poussez le bouton ZOOM vers le "T" pour faire un plan rapproché du sujet à filmer.
