Setting Power management For reducing power consumption as well as maintaining the lamp life, the Power management function turns off the projection lamp when the projector is not used for a certain period. When this function is "On" and if the input signal is interrupted and no button is pressed for more than 30 seconds, the timer display with "No signal" appears on the screen. It starts the countdown until the lamp is turned off. The countdown time is set to five (5) minutes. When the countdown time has elapsed, the lamp is turned off to cool itself down. The POWER indicator is blinking red during the cooling-off period. When the lamp has been fully cooled down, the POWER indicator changes to green blinking. In this condition, the projection lamp can be turned on when the input signal is reconnected or any button on the top control or remote control is pressed. Press the Point 8 or OK buttons to switch On/Off. Remote control Two different remote control codes are assigned to this projector: the factory-set code (Code 1) and the secondary code (Code 2). This switching function prevents interference from other remote controls when several projectors or video equipment next to each other are used at the same time. When operating the projector in Code 2, the code for both the projector and the remote control must be switched to Code 2. To change the code of the projector: Press the Point 8 or OK buttons to switch between Code 1 and Code 2. To change the code of the remote control: Press and hold both the MENU and IMAGE ADJ. button on the remote control for more than 5 seconds to switch between Code 1 and Code 2. After changing the code, make sure the remote control operates properly. ✔Note: • When the batteries of the remote control are replaced, the remote control code automatically returns to the initial code (Code 1). Shutter demo Press the Point 8 or OK buttons to start Shutter demo. The automatic slide shutter closes once with the lamp being turned on and opens up again. This is used for checking the operation of the automatic slide shutter. ✔Note: • The Shutter demo function cannot be operated continuously. Two different remote control codes are assigned to this projector:
the factory-set code (Code 1) and the secondary code (Code 2).
This switching function prevents interference from other remote
controls when several projectors or video equipment next to each
other are used at the same time.
When operating the projector in Code 2, the code for both the
projector and the remote control must be switched to Code 2.
To change the code of the projector:

Press and hold both the MENU and IMAGE ADJ. button on the
remote control for more than 5 seconds to switch between Code
1 and Code 2.
After changing the code, make sure the remote control operates
properly.
