TROUBLESHOOTING Shooting Problem An image is not captured when the still image shooting button or video clip recording button is pressed. The flash does not operate. The digital zoom does not work. A warning tone (beep-beepbeep) sounds, and it is not possible to take a picture using the selftimer. Cause The maximum number of images that can be captured or the maximum video clip recording time has been reached. The flash off mode is selected. The battery pack is dead. The still image mode is set to v. The digital zoom setting is set to "OFF". The battery pack is consumed. Action Install a new card. Erase the images that are not necessary. Set the flash to automatic flash mode or forced flash mode. Recharge the battery pack, or replace with a new battery pack. Or connect the AC adaptor (supplied). Set the still image mode to s.
