• During thunder storms, you should turn off your computer, unplug the AC power cord and remove the modem cable from your computer. • Never install telephone jacks in wet locations unless the jack is specifically designed for wet locations. • Never touch uninsulated telephone wires or terminals unless the telephone line has been disconnected at the network interface. • Use caution when installing or modifying telephone lines. Wireless LAN Precautions • Disable the integrated antenna and do not communicate with wireless LAN in specific environments where radio-susceptible equipment is nearby, on airplanes, in hospitals, for example. • Disable the integrated antenna and do not communicate with wireless LAN in crowded places for prevention of cardiac pacemaker interference. • Maintain a space of at least 8.66" (22cm) between a cardiac pacemaker and an active wireless LAN antenna. • Never disassemble or alter the wireless LAN unit. • Do not remove the certification label on the wireless LAN unit. Product Conformance The wireless LAN unit equipped with your computer is in conformance with federal requirements. No license is required for use of the device. Notice of Radio Interference The wireless LAN card equipped with your computer operates at 2.4GHz that is also used for microwaves, science or medical devices, other similar radio stations (hereafter called "other radio stations"), etc. • Prior to using the wireless LAN function with your computer, confirm that no "other radio stations" are operating nearby. • If interference with "other radio stations" is experienced, change the current channel set to your computer or move your computer.
