Data Backup and Restore Your important data such as e-mails or files is stored on the hard disk of your computer. Backing up the data in another place is one of the ways that protect your data against any disaster, data corruption or data erase, for example. Backing Up Your Data The File and Settings Transfer Wizard can help you to back up several files and settings at one time. To open the wizard, follow the instructions below. 1. Connect the backup device or media to your computer. 2. Click start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - File and Settings Transfer Wizard. 3. Follow the on-screen instructions. You can also back up the data on your host computer by using the connection cradle. (Refer to Chapter 7.) Restoring Your Data You can also use the File and Settings Transfer Wizard to restore your data or settings from the backup media to the hard disk. When restoring your backup data, the wizard asks you if you try to overwrite a file that already exists on the hard disk. data against any disaster, data corruption or data erase, for example.
Backing Up Your Data
The
File and Settings Transfer Wizard
can help you to back up several files and
settings at one time. To open the wizard, follow the instructions below.

Connect the backup device or media to your computer.

You can also back up the data on your host computer by using the

Restoring Your Data
