Displaying Image on LCD and External Monitor When displaying on both of the LCD monitor and the external monitor simultaneously, the external monitor should be capable for displaying in 1024 × 768 resolution or higher. Otherwise, you may not display images on the external monitor properly. You can display the same image on the LCD and the external monitor simultaneously when you connect the external monitor to your computer. To extend the image on your LCD onto an external monitor: 1. In the Display Properties dialog box, select Settings tab. 2. Select "2"display icon, then, check the box of Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor at the bottom of the dialog box. 3. Click OK, then, follow the instructions shown on the screen. 4 To stop extending the image onto the external monitor, uncheck the box of Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor. • You can also switch the display with Fn+F5 ( ). • When you log on your computer as a member of the Limited group, you cannot switch the display with the dialog box. Use Fn+F5( ) keys. • When displaying in Resolution Expansion mode (see 6-4), you cannot switch the display using Fn+F5 ( ) keys. • While playing video or animation, you may not be able to switch the display. 4-14

Displaying Image on LCD and External Monitor
When displaying on both of the LCD monitor and the external monitor
simultaneously, the external monitor should be capable for displaying in
1024
×
768 resolution or higher. Otherwise, you may not display images
on the external monitor properly.
You can display the same image on the LCD and the external monitor simultaneously
when you connect the external monitor to your computer.
To extend the image on your LCD onto an external monitor:
1.
In the
Display Properties
dialog box, select
Settings
tab.
2.
Select “2”display icon, then, check the box of
Extend my Windows desktop onto
this monitor
at the bottom of the dialog box.
3.
Click
OK,
then, follow the instructions shown on the screen.

You can also switch the display with
