• Set the write-protect tab to REC or insert a new cassette (p. 101). • The tape is stuck to the drum due to moisture condensation. Remove the cassette and leave your camcorder for at least 1 hour, then re-insert the cassette (p. 108). The zoom does not function. • You cannot use the zoom while executing [SHOT TRANS]. You cannot record on the "Memory Stick Duo." • Release the lock on the write-protect tab of the "Memory Stick Duo." (p. 103) • The capacity is full. You cannot record a smooth transition on a tape from the last recorded scene to the next. • Note the following. - Perform END SEARCH. (p. 33). - Do not remove the cassette. (The picture will be recorded continuously without a break even when you turn the power off.) - Do not record pictures in the HDV and DV formats on the same tape. - Do not record pictures in the SP and LP modes on the same tape. - Avoid stopping then recording a movie in the LP mode. The shutter sound is not heard when you record a still image. • Set [BEEP] to [ON] (p. 60). The internal flash does not work. • You cannot use the internal flash with: - [BURST] Continued  85

Troubleshooting

• The tape is stuck to the drum due to moisture condensation. Remove the cassette and leave
your camcorder for at least 1 hour, then re-insert the cassette (p. 108).
The zoom does not function.
• You cannot use the zoom while executing [SHOT TRANS].
You cannot record on the “Memory Stick Duo.”
