Installing the supplied applications onto your computer From the installation launcher window of the supplied CLIE Installation CD-ROM, you can install the following image, audio, and other applications onto your computer's hard disk. Installing the OpenMG™ Jukebox for CLIE software The OpenMG Jukebox for CLIE software utilizes Sony's copyright protection technology (OpenMG) and allows you to store and play digital audio files in your computer's hard disk, and then transfer them (check-out) to a Sony digital music player such as your CLIE handheld, for portable listening. 1 Insert the Installation CD-ROM into your computer's CD-ROM drive. The installation launcher window is displayed. 2 Click Install CLIE Audio Software. The Audio Software installation window is displayed. 3 Click Install OpenMG Jukebox for CLIE. The OpenMG Jukebox for CLIE software installation starts. Follow the instructions onscreen. 4 After the installation is complete, select "Yes, restart computer now" and then click Finish. The installation is complete and the computer is restarted. Note Do not delete, move, or edit the installed folders using Windows® Explorer or any other application. The OpenMG Jukebox database may become unstable or corrupted. 42

Installation CD-ROM, you can install the following image, audio, and
other applications onto your computer’s hard disk.
Installing the OpenMG

Jukebox for CLIE software
The OpenMG Jukebox for CLIE software utilizes Sony’s copyright

Note
