Selecting a shooting mode Scene Selection 1 Set the mode dial to (Scene Selection), then press the center of the control button. 2 Select the desired mode using v/V, then press the center of the control button. • To change the scene, press the Fn button, then select another scene. 3 Adjust the focus and shoot the subject. (Portrait) (Sports Action) (Macro) (Landscape) (Sunset) (Night Scene) (Hand-held Twilight) (Night Portrait) Blurs away backgrounds and sharpens the subject. Accentuates skin tones softly. Shoots a moving subject at a fast shutter speed so that the subject looks as if it is standing still. The camera shoots images continuously while the shutter button is pressed. Shoots close-ups of the subjects such as flowers and foods. Shoots the entire range of scenery in sharp focus with vivid colors. Shoots the red of the sunrise or sunset beautifully. Shoots night scenes at a distance without losing the dark atmosphere of the surroundings. Shoots night scenes with less noise and blur without using a tripod. A burst of shots are taken, and image processing is applied to reduce subject blur, camera shake, and noise. Shoots portraits in night scenes. 38
