Selecting the shooting mode • Press the button when you shoot with the flash. However, when using the flash, if you close the aperture (a larger F-number) by making the shutter speed slower, the light of the flash will not reach distant subjects. Manual Exposure This mode is suitable for z Shooting with the desired exposure setting by adjusting both the shutter speed and aperture. 1 Set the mode dial to M. 2 Rotate the control dial to adjust the shutter speed, and while pressing the AV button, rotate the control dial to adjust the aperture. • You can set [ISO] to [AUTO] even in [Manual Exposure] mode. When [ISO] is set to [AUTO], the ISO sensitivity automatically changes for proper exposure according to the set shutter speed and aperture value. • When [ISO] is set to [AUTO], if proper exposure is not obtained with your settings, the setting value indicators on the screen will flash.
