Introduction Connecting your TV Using the Remote Control Air filter care The air filter prevents excessive dust from entering the TV. If the air filter accumulates too much dust, the internal temperature of the TV may rise, resulting in possible malfunction; therefore, it is recommended that you clean the air filter a minimum of every two (2) months. This TV contains several cooling fans to moderate the TV's internal temperature. The air intake for these fans is through the air filter. To maintain maximum cooling efficiency of the fans, clean the air filter regularly and never place the TV where the air filter will be blocked (against a curtain, for example). If the air filter becomes lost or damaged, replace it with a new one before using the TV. Continued use of the TV without an air filter or with a damaged air filter will allow excessive dust to enter and damage the TV. See air filter ordering information at right.
