Recording DVD-RAM Using Library data The recorder has a database called "Library". This database provides a list of numbers, names and remaining spaces of all registered DVD-RAM discs. On this list, you will easily find a desired or available disc. You can utilize Library data as follows. • To check or change information of disc. • To check the remaining space of a DVD-RAM disc. Use DVD-RAM discs with the said statement. • The capacity of the database is 60 discs. • The LIBRARY MENU may not display all characters of a registered name of a disc. 112

Using Library data
The recorder has a database called

Library
”
. This database provides a list of numbers, names and
remaining spaces of all registered DVD-RAM discs. On this list, you will easily find a desired or available
disc.
You can utilize Library data as follows.

To check or change information of disc.
•
To check the remaining space of a DVD-RAM disc.
Basic operation of the Library system

To cancel this procedure, press the LIBRARY button.
•
The Library system does not support DVD-R/RW discs.
•
The Library system supports DVD-RAM discs that do not show a statement on its package such as
“
This disc can copy
images that permit copying once,
”
however, once the DVD-RAM disc is operated on other device, the Library data of the disc
may not function properly. Use DVD-RAM discs with the said statement.
