3 Tests and Diagnostics 3.2 Executing the Diagnostic Test 3.2 Executing the Diagnostic Test To start the DIAGNOSTIC PROGRAM, follow these steps: 1. Insert the Diagnostics disk in the USB floppy disk drive. 2. Turn on the computer while pressing U key. The following menu appears. Repair test program (Hiderbelg10) (1) Repair Main (2) Repair Initial config set (3) Repair Heatrun Select From Menue (123) or press [Enter] (Selection=1) Singlestepping (F8) is :OFF To start the Diagnostics menu (T&D), press 1, or select(1) Repair Main and press Enter. To start the H/W initial information setting tool, press 2, or select (2) Repair Initial config set and press Enter. To start the Heatrun test, press 3, or select (3) Repair Heatrun and press Enter. NOTE: When replacing the system board, it is necessary to execute the followings: 1. Before replacing, save the DMI information by executing subtest 03 DMI information save in 3.3 Setting of the hardware configuration. 2.
