Interpreting the Blank Print (with crosshatch) Each print consists of a blank page with a single primary-colored crosshatch printed near the top of the page. Use these pages to identify color on non-printed areas of a print as well as residual offsetting. 0728-20 Cyan Step Test Pattern Magenta Step Test Pattern Yellow Step Test Pattern Black Step Test Pattern Interpreting the Step Test Patterns The Step Test Patterns consist of 11 color bars, starting with a100% ﬁll of a primary color bar and progressing in 10% steps to a 0% (white) ﬁll bar.
