Enjoying Bluetooth™ components Use this feature to enjoy the music contents stored on your Bluetooth component (such as a portable music player) without wiring between this unit and the Bluetooth component. To use this feature, you need perform the following operations in advance. • Connecting a Yamaha Bluetooth receiver (☞ P. 7). • Pairing the desired Bluetooth component (see below). • Establishing the connection between the desired Bluetooth component and the Bluetooth receiver. y This unit supports A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) Bluetooth profiles. Pairing Pairing must be performed when using a Bluetooth component with the Bluetooth receiver connected to this unit for the first time or if the pairing data has been deleted. "Pairing" refers to the operation of registering a Bluetooth component for Bluetooth communications. y • You only need to perform the pairing operation the first time. • Pairing requires operations on this unit and on the other component with which Bluetooth communications are to be established. If necessary, refer to the other component's operating instructions. To ensure security, a time limit of 8 minutes is set for the pairing operation. You are recommended to read and fully understand all the instructions before starting. 1 Turn on your Bluetooth component, then set the Bluetooth component to the pairing mode. 2 Select " Pairing " from the pop up menu and check that the Bluetooth component detects the Bluetooth receiver. If the Bluetooth component detects the Bluetooth receiver, "YBA-10 YAMAHA" (example) appears on the Bluetooth device list. 3 Select the Bluetooth receiver on the Bluetooth device list, then enter the pass key "0000" on the Bluetooth component. When the pairing procedure is successful, "Pairing Completed" appears. Notes • If any message appears, refer to "Troubleshooting". (☞ P. 50) • The Yamaha Bluetooth receiver can be paired with up to eight Bluetooth components. Use this feature to enjoy the music contents stored on your Bluetooth component (such as a portable music player)
without wiring between this unit and the Bluetooth component.
To use this feature, you need perform the following
operations in advance.
Connecting a Yamaha Bluetooth receiver (
P. 7).
Pairing the desired Bluetooth component (see below).

Bluetooth component and the Bluetooth receiver.
