Setup menu ■ Network Standby (YMC-700 only) Use this feature to select whether or not this unit will accept commands via LAN network when it is in the standby mode. Choice Descriptions Off Does not accept operations via LAN network when in the standby mode. On Accepts operations via LAN network when in the standby mode. When in the standby mode, the power indicator is lit dimly. Note When "Network Standby" is set to "On", the amount of power consumed in the standby mode increases. ■ Screen Saver Screen saver Select a type of screen saver. Choice Functions Off Logos Photos Screen saver is not activated. The Yamaha logo and neoHD logo are used for the screen saver. The selected photos (☞ P. 27) are used for the screen saver. Waiting time Use this menu to set the amount of time before the screen saver is activated. Control range: 1min to 10min Initial setting: 5min Control step: 1min Press ENTER to set the value. Preview When you select this menu, preview is displayed. Press BACK to return to the previous screen. ■ Factory Reset Use this menu to reset the system to the factory defaults. Notes • This procedure completely resets all the parameters of this unit. • When you execute the "factory reset" command, this unit turns off then back on automatically. Choice Functions Yes Resets the system to the factory defaults. No Cancels resetting. Signal information Use this to display audio and video signal information. The displayed information is as follows: Video information Choice Functions Signal Type Resolution Type of source video signal and video signal output from the HDMI OUT jack. Resolution of the input signal (analog or HDMI) and the output signal (HDMI). Audio information Choice Decode Status Decode Channel Air Surround Xtreme Functions Signal format. Number of source channels in the input signal. State of the Air Surround Xtreme function. Note • "- - -" appears when this unit cannot display the corresponding information. • Even if you make settings to output bitstreams directly, some players convert Dolby TrueHD or Dolby Digital Plus bitstreams to Dolby Digital bitstreams. Update menu Use this menu to update the firmware of this unit. For details on how to update the firmware, refer to the information supplied with updates. Choice Functions USB Update Updates the firmware of this unit using the USB memory. Network Update Updates the firmware of this unit via the (YMC-700 only) network. System Information Displays the software version and system ID of this unit. y To start updating the firmware, select "USB Update" or "Network Update". Use this feature to select whether or not this unit will
accept commands via LAN network when it is in the
standby mode.
When “Network Standby” is set to “On”, the amount of power
consumed in the standby mode increases.
Screen Saver
Screen saver
Select a type of screen saver.
Waiting time
Use this menu to set the amount of time before the screen
saver is activated.
Control range: 1min to 10min
Initial setting: 5min
Control step: 1min
Press
ENTER
to set the value.
Preview
When you select this menu, preview is displayed. Press
BACK
to return to the previous screen.
Factory Reset
Use this menu to reset the system to the factory defaults.
This procedure completely resets all the parameters of this unit.
When you execute the “factory reset” command, this unit turns
off then back on automatically.
Use this to display audio and video signal information.
The displayed information is as follows:
Video information
Audio information
“– – –” appears when this unit cannot display the corresponding
information.
Even if you make settings to output bitstreams directly, some
players convert Dolby TrueHD or Dolby Digital Plus bitstreams
to Dolby Digital bitstreams.
Use this menu to update the firmware of this unit. For
details on how to update the firmware, refer to the
information supplied with updates.

Update”.
Do not use this feature unless you need to update the firmware.
