2 Select "Learn" and immediately press the TV power control button on the remote control of the TV. When learning was successful, "Code learning was successful" appears. If learning was unsuccessful, "Code learning failed" appears. In this case, place the remote control near the remote control sensor of this unit and select "Retry", or select "Cancel" to cancel the learning process. y Aim the remote control of the TV at the remote control sensor of this unit within the range of 10 cm to 2.5 m (4 in. to 8 ft.). 3 Select "Finished" and then "Yes" to exit the learning process. Note If the other remote control uses infrared rays, this unit can learn most of its function. However, you may not be able to program some special signals or extremely long transmissions. Option menu You can adjust the optional system settings. The choices indicated in bold are selected by default. ■ Initial Screen - POWER Button You can set the initial screen displayed when this unit is turned on using POWER. Choice Functions Top Menu The top menu is displayed when this unit is turned on. Last The playback screen of the audio source you listened to the last time is displayed when this unit is turned on. Activities The playback screen of the selected input source is displayed when this unit is turned on. You cannot select FM Radio, Rhapsody, Net Radio, PC Content, Bluetooth, or USB. Setup menu ■ Initial Screen - CONTROL Button You can set the initial screen displayed when this unit is turned on using CONTROL on the remote control. Note You cannot use this feature with CONTROL on the top panel. Choice Top Menu Last Activities Functions The top menu is displayed when this unit is turned on. The playback screen of the audio source you listened to the last time is displayed when this unit is turned on. The playback screen of the selected input source is displayed when this unit is turned on. You cannot select FM Radio, Rhapsody, Net Radio, PC Content, Bluetooth, or USB. ■ GUI position Use this feature to adjust the vertical and horizontal position of the menu screen. Control range: -5 (downward/left) to +5 (upward/right) Button Direction in which the GUI display moves u Up d Down i Right j Left y Press ENTER when the adjustment is finished. ■ HDMI Standby Through Use this feature to decide whether or not to allow the HDMI signals input to the HDMI IN jacks to pass through this unit when this unit is in the standby mode. Choice Off HDMI 1 - 3 Functions Disables the HDMI standby through feature. HDMI signals do not pass through this unit when this unit is in the standby mode. HDMI signals pass through this unit (from the corresponding HDMI IN jack) even when this unit is in the standby mode. When in the standby mode, the power indicator is lit dimly. Note When "HDMI Standby Through" is set to options other than "Off", the amount of power consumed in the standby mode increases. ADVANCED OPERATION 43 En
