How to use the Manual The DTXPRESS Owner's Manual is divided into the following two books. ● Basic Guide Please read this book before using the DTXPRESS. This book contains cautions that must be followed for safe and proper use of the DTXPRESS. Also, control and function names, connecting the pads and how to play the DTXPRESS, how to record and playback songs, how to create original drum kits are all described in this book. At the rear of this book you will find an appendix section with specifications and error messages. ● Reference Guide (this book) This book describes in detail each of the DTXPRESS' functions. At the rear of this book you will find an appendix section with drum voice, song, MIDI data format, etc. About the descriptions This manual describes buttons and explanations using the following rules. • [PLAY], [START/S], etc. The button on the front panel is indicated with [ ]. (brackets). • [SHIFT]+[START/S], etc. Means hold the [SHIFT] button and press the [START/ S] button. • [PAGEs]/[PAGEt], etc. Means use the [PAGEs] button or [PAGEt] button. • "Complete!", etc. Words inside " " indicate the message shown on the display. • m P. 10, etc. Indicates the reference page where further information can be found.
