(Refer to "Language code list" on page 67 for the number of the desired language. (Example: "8084") Language Code 8 0 8 4 3 Press SELECT. Note: In step 1, if a language code is already set, it is shown as "Others 6565 (for example)". If you wish to change the code number, follow steps 2 and 3. Initial settings (on the SET UP menu) 3 Menu Language Select the language which is used to show title menus or DVD menus when playing back a DVD. 1 When the SET UP group "DVD Settings" is selected, press or to select "3 Menu Language" and then press SELECT. DVD Settings DVD VCD Display Audio 1 TV Type 2 Display Mode 3 Menu Language 4 Subtitle Language 5 Audio Language 6 Rating Level Normal 4:3 Letter Box English Auto English OFF 2 Press or to select the preferred language and then press SELECT. DVD Settings 1 Disc 2 English 3 Japanese 4 Chinese 5 Spanish 6 French 7 German 8 Italian Menu Language 9 Others 1 Disc: The priority language on the disc. 2 English 3 Japanese 4 Chinese 5 Spanish 6 French 7 German 8 Italian 9 Others: Another language can be selected by entering the code number for the language. (See the left for details.)
