Initial settings (on the SET UP menu) 1, 2 DISC SKIP OPEN/ DISC MODE TIME CLOSE CANCEL S/F REPEAT A-B RANDOM PROG 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0 +10 ANGLE RETURN TITLE/INDEX TITLE SELECT AUDIO MENU MULTI SPEED SUBTITLE SET UP SKIP/SEARCH OFF/ON ON SCREEN STOP STILL/PAUSE PLAY 6 Signal System Conversion [ DVD and VCD only] (for China and General models only) This unit is designed for use with the NTSC and PAL televison formats. You have already selected the format your TV monitor employs with the MODE SELECT (PAL/NTSC) switch on the rear panel. However, if you prefer, you can change the setting so that this unit outputs video signals in the same format with the disc being played back. 1 When the SET UP group "Display Settings" is selected, press or to select "6 Signal System Conversion", and then press SELECT. Display Settings DVD VCD Display Audio 1 Guide Display 2 OSD Language 3 Background Screen 4 Screen Saver 5 FL Dimmer 6 Signal System Conversion ON English Picture 1 ON Normal Switch 2 Press or to select the preferred format, and then press SELECT. Display Settings 1 Switch 2 Disc Signal System Conversion 1 Switch Generally select this. Video signals are output from this unit in the format selected with the MODE SELECT (PAL/NTSC) switch on the rear of this unit. (Refer to page 15.) 2 Disc Select this if your TV monitor employs both PAL and NTSC formats. * This unit outputs signals in the same format with the disc currently played back.
