Editing a Voice in Detail [VOICE EDIT] • Refer to page 61 for general information on setting the parameters. • Refer to pages 3-5 of the separate "Data List" for information on the default parame- ter settings. • All parameters accessed via the [VOICE EDIT] button are performance parameters (page 30). ■ Setting the chorus depth* [ChorusSend] In Dual mode: Voice for editing (Main part or Layer part) Press the D [-]/[+] buttons to set the value (0-127). ■ Turning the chorus on/off [ChorusOnOff] You can set the [CHORUS] button on or off for each voice. When you select a voice, the voice automatically uses this chorus on/off setting. Press the D [-]/[+] buttons to turn On/Off. ■ Selecting the insertion effect type* [Ins.Type(Ins)] You can select other effects (than reverb and chorus). SoundBoard ........ Creates reverberation that simulates a piano sound board. AmpSimulator..... Distortion effects Off No effect ■ Setting the speed of the vibraphone vibrato effect* [VibeRotorSpeed(RotorSpeed)] TERMINOLOGY Rotor = The rotating portion of an electric motor. This parameter is displayed only if VibeRotor is selected for the "Ins.Type" parameter. This parameter enables you to set the speed of vibrato when you select the Vibraphone voice and use a vibe rotor pedal. Press the D [-]/[+] buttons to set the speed (1-10). ■ Turning the Vibraphone vibrato on/off* [VibeRotorOnOff (RotorOnOff)] This parameter is displayed only if VibeRotor is selected for the "Ins.Type" parameter. This parameter turns on/off the vibrato effect that is applied when you use the VibeRotor pedal. Edit Operation Press the D [-]/[+] buttons to select one of the following: Delay LCR .......... Delays the sound on left, center, and right. Delay LR Delays the sound on left and right. Echo Echo-like delay CrossDelay ......... Left and right delays are crossed. Symphonic ......... Adds a rich, deep dimension to the sound. Rotary Reproduces the vibrato effect of rotary speakers. Tremolo The volume level changes in cycles. VibeRotor Vibrato effect typical of a vibraphone AutoPan Moves the sound left and right. Phaser Changes the phase periodically to cre- ate a swell. AutoWah Changes the center frequency of the wah filter periodically. Press the D [-]/[+] buttons to turn the parameter On or Off. ■ Adjusting the speed of the rotary speaker* [RotarySpeed (Rot.Speed)] This parameter is displayed only if Rotory is selected for the "Ins.Type" parameter. Editing a Voice in Detail [VOICE EDIT]
Edit Operation
Setting the chorus depth* [ChorusSend]
Press the D [–]/[+] buttons to set the value (0—127).
Turning the chorus on/off [ChorusOnOff]
You can set the [CHORUS] button on or off for each voice.
When you select a voice, the voice automatically uses this
chorus on/off setting.
Press the D [–]/[+] buttons to turn On/Off.
