Edit Operation
Adjusting the insertion effect depth*
[Dry/WetBalance(Dry/Wet)]
This parameter sets the depth of the insertion effect.
Some insertion effects do not allow you to set the dry/
wet balance.
Press the D [–]/[+] buttons to specify the dry/wet balance
in the range from “D63>W” (mostly dry sound) through
“D=W” (dry/wet balance is even) to “D<W63” (only the
effect sound is output).
Adjusting the brightness of the sound*
[Brightness]
Use the D [–]/[+] buttons to set the value (–64 to +63).
Adjusting the resonance effect* [Harmonic-
Content (Harmonic)]
Press the D [–]/[+] buttons to set the value (–64 — +63).
Adjusting the low-range frequency of the
part EQ* [EQ LowFreq.(EQ L.Freq)]
Adjusting the high-range frequency of the
part EQ* [EQ HighFreq.(EQ H.Freq)]
For the Part equalizer (Part EQ), you can adjust the gain
of two bands for each voice.
Press the D [–]/[+] buttons to specify the low-range fre-
quency (32Hz to 2.0kHz) and the high-range frequency
(500Hz to 16.0 kHz).
Adjusting the low-range gain (amount of
boost/cut) of the part EQ* [EQLowGain]
Adjusting the high-range gain (amount of
boost/cut) of the part EQ* [EQHighGain]
Press the D [–]/[+] buttons to specify the gain for each
band (–12 — +12dB).
Setting the touch sensitivity* [TouchSense]
This parameter enables you to determine the manner and
degree to which the volume level changes in response to
your touch on the keyboard (how hard you play).
Press the D [–]/[+] buttons to set the sensitivity from 0
(softest) to 64 (largest change in the level) to 127 (loudest
and fixed).
Refer to page 61 for general information on setting the parameters.
Refer to pages 3—5 of the separate “Data List” for information on the default parame-
ter settings.
All parameters accessed via [VOICE EDIT] are performance parameters (page 30).
TERMINOLOGY
Resonance = Vibration or oscillation at a certain frequency
TIP
The P-250 has two types of equalizer: five-band Master
Equalizer (Master EQ) and two-band Part Equalizer (part
EQ). Refer to pages 38 and 71 for more information on the
Master Equalizer.
TIP
See page 74 for differences between the “TouchSense”
parameter and the “TouchResponse” parameter in the
“OTHER SETTING” menu.
