Chapter 9 VLAN 9.5.4 Configure VLAN Port Settings Use the VLAN Port Setting screen to configure the static VLAN (IEEE 802.1Q) settings on a port. See Section 9.1 on page 95 for more information on static VLAN. Click the VLAN Port Setting link in the VLAN Status screen. Table 17 Advanced Application > VLAN > VLAN Port Setting LABEL DESCRIPTION GVRP GVRP (GARP VLAN Registration Protocol) is a registration protocol that defines a way for switches to register necessary VLAN members on ports across the network. Port * Select this check box to permit VLAN groups beyond the local Switch. This field displays the port number. Settings in this row apply to all ports. Use this row only if you want to make some settings the same for all ports. Use this row first to set the common settings and then make adjustments on a port-by-port basis.
