Chapter 13 Spanning Tree Protocol 13.3 Spanning Tree Configuration Use the Spanning Tree Configuration screen to activate one of the STP modes on the Switch. Click Configuration in the Advanced Application > Spanning Tree Protocol. Table 26 Advanced Application > Spanning Tree Protocol > Configuration LABEL DESCRIPTION Spanning Tree Mode You can activate one of the STP modes on the Switch. Select Rapid Spanning Tree, Multiple Rapid Spanning Tree or Multiple Spanning Tree. See Section 13.1 on page 125 for background information on STP. Apply Click Apply to save your changes to the Switch's run-time memory. The Switch loses these changes if it is turned off or loses power, so use the Save link on the top navigation panel to save your changes to the nonvolatile memory when you are done configuring.
