Chapter 7 System Status and Port Statistics Table 7 Status: Port Details (continued) LABEL DESCRIPTION Status If STP (Spanning Tree Protocol) is enabled, this field displays the STP state of the port (see Section 13.1 on page 125 for more information). LACP TxPkts RxPkts Errors Tx KB/s Rx KB/s Up Time Tx Packet If STP is disabled, this field displays FORWARDING if the link is up, otherwise, it displays STOP. This field shows if LACP is enabled on this port or not. This field shows the number of transmitted frames on this port This field shows the number of received frames on this port This field shows the number of received errors on this port. This field shows the number kilobytes per second transmitted on this port. This field shows the number of kilobytes per second received on this port. This field shows the total amount of time the connection has been up. The following fields display detailed information about packets transmitted. TX Packet This field shows the number of good packets (unicast, multicast and broadcast) transmitted. Multicast This field shows the number of good multicast packets transmitted. Broadcas This field shows the number of good broadcast packets transmitted. t Pause This field shows the number of 802.3x Pause packets transmitted. Tagged This field shows the number of packets with VLAN tags transmitted. Rx Packet The following fields display detailed information about packets received. RX Packet This field shows the number of good packets (unicast, multicast and broadcast) received. Multicast This field shows the number of good multicast packets received. Broadcas This field shows the number of good broadcast packets received. t Pause This field shows the number of 802.3x Pause packets received. Control This field shows the number of control packets received (including those with CRC error) but it does not include the 802.3x Pause packets. TX Collision The following fields display information on collisions while transmitting. Single This is a count of successfully transmitted packets for which transmission is inhibited by exactly one collision. Multiple This is a count of successfully transmitted packets for which transmission was inhibited by more than one collision. Excessiv e This is a count of packets for which transmission failed due to excessive collisions. Excessive collision is defined as the number of maximum collisions before the retransmission count is reset. Status

If STP (Spanning Tree Protocol) is enabled, this field displays the STP state

of the port (see

If STP is disabled, this field displays

if the link is up,

otherwise, it displays

LACP

This field shows if LACP is enabled on this port or not.

TxPkts

This field shows the number of transmitted frames on this port

RxPkts

This field shows the number of received frames on this port

Errors

This field shows the number of received errors on this port.

Tx KB/s

This field shows the number kilobytes per second transmitted on this port.

Rx KB/s

This field shows the number of kilobytes per second received on this port.

Up Time

This field shows the total amount of time the connection has been up.
