Chapter 26 IP Source Guard Table 81 ARP Inspection VLAN Status LABEL DESCRIPTION Received This field displays the total number of ARP packets received from the VLAN since the Switch last restarted. Request This field displays the total number of ARP Request packets received from the VLAN since the Switch last restarted. Reply This field displays the total number of ARP Reply packets received from the VLAN since the Switch last restarted. Forwarded This field displays the total number of ARP packets the Switch forwarded for the VLAN since the Switch last restarted. Dropped This field displays the total number of ARP packets the Switch discarded for the VLAN since the Switch last restarted. 26.6.2 ARP Inspection Log Status Use this screen to look at log messages that were generated by ARP packets and that have not been sent to the syslog server yet. To open this screen, click Advanced Application > IP Source Guard > ARP Inspection > Log Status. Figure 132 ARP Inspection Log Status The following table describes the labels in this screen. Table 82 ARP Inspection Log Status LABEL DESCRIPTION Clearing log status table Click Apply to remove all the log messages that were generated by ARP packets and that have not been sent to the syslog server yet. Total number of logs This field displays the number of log messages that were generated by ARP packets and that have not been sent to the syslog server yet. If one or more log messages are dropped due to unavailable buffer, there is an entry called overflow with the current number of dropped log messages. Index This field displays a sequential number for each log message. Port This field displays the source port of the ARP packet. VID This field displays the source VLAN ID of the ARP packet.
