Lap Belt 1 When you sit in the center seating position, you have a Buckle, position and release the sameway as thelap it lap safety belt, which has retractor. To make the belt no part of a lap-shoulder belt. the belt isn't long enough, If it longer, tilt the latch plate and pull along the belt. see "Safety Belt Extender" at the endthis section. of Make sure the release button the buckle is positioned on so you would be able to unbuckle the safety belt quickly if you ever had to. To make the belt shorter, pull free end as shown until its the beltis snug. 1-34
