Cleaning the Mirror To avoid accidental OnStar calls (if equipped), clean the mirror with the ignition off. Do not spray glass cleaner directly on the mirror. Use a soft towel dampened with water. On vehicles with an automatic dimming inside rearview mirror. The mirror reduces glare from the headlamps of the vehicle behind you. The dimming feature comes on and the indicator light illuminates each time the vehicle is started. See Automatic Dimming Rearview Mirror on page 2‑13.
