5-30 Instruments and Controls AUTOMATIC LIGHT CONTROL OFF This message is displayed when the automatic light control has been turned off. See Automatic Headlamp System on page 6‑3. Key and Lock Messages NO REMOTE DETECTED This message displays when the transmitter battery is weak on vehicles with keyless access. See "Starting the Vehicle with a Low Transmitter Battery" under Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) System Operation on page 2‑3. Ride Control System Messages SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL This message displays when there is a problem with the Traction Control System (TCS). When this message is displayed, the system will not limit wheel spin. Adjust your driving accordingly. See your dealer for service. CHECK XXX TURN SIGNAL LAMP When one of the turn signals is out, this message displays to show which bulb needs to be replaced. See Bulb Replacement on page 10‑25 and Replacement Bulbs on page 10‑30. REPLACE BATTERY IN REMOTE KEY This message displays when the battery in the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter needs to be replaced. SERVICE STABILITRAK This message displays if there is a problem with the StabiliTrak system. If this message appears, try to reset the system. Stop; turn off the engine for at least 15 seconds; then start the engine again. If this message still comes on, it means there is a problem. See your dealer for service. The vehicle is safe to drive, however, you do not have the benefit of StabiliTrak, so reduce your speed and drive accordingly. TURN SIGNAL ON This message is displayed if the turn signal has been left on. Turn off the turn signal.
