LIFT GATE WARNING ● Always be sure the lift gate has been closed securely to prevent it from opening while driving. ● Do not drive with the lift gate open. This could allow dangerous exhaust gases to be drawn into the vehicle. See "PRECAUTIONS WHEN STARTING AND DRIVING" in the "5. Starting and driving" section for exhaust gas. SPA2453 SPA2454 ● The power door lock system allows you to lock or unlock all doors including the lift gate simultaneously. ● Push the opener switch A and pull the opener handle to open the lift gate. LIFT GATE RELEASE LEVER If the lift gate cannot be opened with the door lock switch due to a discharged battery, follow these steps. 1. Remove the cover A inside of the lift gate using a suitable tool. 2. Move the lever B as illustrated to open the lift gate using a suitable tool.
