Side windows Convenience opening You can ventilate the vehicle before you start driving. To do this, you can use the key to simultaneously: Ropen 83 make sure that nobody can be injured during the closing procedure. Proceed as follows in the event of a potentially dangerous situation: RRelease the & button to stop the closing i The convenience opening feature can only be operated using the key. The key must be near the handle of the driver's door. X Point the tip of the key at the driver's door handle. X Press and hold the % button until the side windows and the panorama roof with power tilt/sliding panel are in the desired position. The vehicle is unlocked. If the roller sunblinds of the panorama roof with power tilt/sliding panel are closed, the roller sunblinds are opened first. X Press and hold the % button again until the panorama roof with power tilt/sliding panel is in the desired position. X To interrupt the convenience opening procedure: release the % button. Convenience closing General information When you lock the vehicle, you can simultaneously: Rclose Vehicles with KEYLESS-GO: RRelease the locking button on the exterior door handle in order to interrupt the closing procedure. RPull the same exterior door handle immediately and hold it firmly. The side windows and the panorama roof with power tilt/sliding panel open for as long as the door handle is held without actually opening the door. Using the SmartKey i The key must be near the handle of the driver's door. X Point the tip of the key at the driver's door handle. X Press and hold the & button until the side windows and the panorama roof with power tilt/sliding panel are fully closed. X Make sure that all the side windows and the panorama roof with power tilt/sliding panel are closed. On vehicles with a panorama roof with power tilt/sliding panel: X the side windows Rclose the panorama roof with power tilt/ sliding panel On vehicles with a panorama roof with power tilt/sliding panel, you can then close the roller sunblinds. Press and hold the & button again until the roller sunblinds of the panorama roof with power tilt/sliding panel close. To interrupt the convenience closing procedure: release the & button. X G Warning When closing the side windows and the panorama roof with power tilt/sliding panel, Z Opening and closing the side windows Ropen the panorama roof with power tilt/ sliding panel and roller sunblinds procedure. To open, press and hold the % button. To continue with the closing procedure (after making sure that nobody can be injured during the closing procedure) press and hold the & button.
