Maintenance and service 11-49 Cargo area light 700084 700079 700078 2. Turn the bulb until the flat surfaces at its ends are aligned vertically. Pull the bulb straight downward to remove it. 3. Install a new bulb. 4. Reinstall the lens. Door step light It may be difficult to replace the bulbs. Have your SUBARU dealer replace the bulbs if necessary. 1. Remove the cargo area light assembly by prying the edge of the light with a flathead screwdriver. 2. Remove the lens from the cargo area light assembly. 3. Pull the bulb out of the socket. Install a new bulb. 4. Reinstall the lens.
