Power LED (Switch 3812 and Switch 3824) Green The Switch is powered-up and operating normally. Red The Switch has a fault with the Power Supply Unit. Off The Switch is not receiving power or there is a fault with the Power Supply Unit. Self Test LED (Switch 3812 and Switch 3824) Green flashing There is a test in progress. Green All tests have been passed and the Switch is ready for use. Red A fault has occurred. Red flashing An internal fan has failed. Off The unit is booting-up. Power/Self Test LED (Switch 3848 only) Green The Switch is powered-up and operating normally. Green flashing The Switch is either downloading software or is initializing (which includes running a Power On Self Test). Yellow The Switch is faulty. Off The Switch is not receiving power or there is a fault with the Power Supply unit. Fault LED (Switch 3848 only) Red The Switch and/or the PSU are above critical temperature but below critical shut down temperature. Fans are operating normally.
