Viewing 802.1X Authentication CHAPTER 4: MANAGING DEVICE SECURITY 49 The 802.1X Summary Page allows the network administrator to view port-based authentication settings. To view Port-based Authentication: 1 Click Security > 802.1X > Summary. The 802.1X Summary Page opens. Figure 25 802.1X Summary Page The 802.1X Summary Page contains the following fields: Port - Displays a list of interfaces. User Name - Displays the supplicant user name. Current Port Control - Displays the current port authorization state. Guest VLAN - Indicates whether an unauthorized port is allowed to join the Guest VLAN. The possible field values are: Enabled - Enables an unauthorized port to join the Guest VLAN. Disabled - Disables an unauthorized port to join the Guest VLAN. Periodic Reauthentication - Enables periodic reauthentication on the port. Enabled - Enables the periodic reauthentication on the port. Disabled - Disables the periodic reauthentication on the port. This is the default.
