Set up the system so driver will load on boot 1 Insert the 3ware driver installation diskette for SuSE and type in the following: / # mkdir /mnt2 / # mount -t msdos/dev/fd0 /mnt2 If you are on a non-SMP system, type: / # cp /mnt2/***/initrd /mnt/boot If you are on an SMP system, type: / # cp /mnt2/***/initsmp /mnt/boot/initrd 2 Unmount and eject the 3ware Software Installation diskette from the floppy drive by entering the following: / # umount /mnt2 Edit the lilo.conf file 1 Edit /mnt/etc/lilo.conf.
